After losing to the Melbourne Ice on Saturday night, the Bears found themselves in another hole the following day losing to the Adrenaline in their first match up of the year.The Adrenaline jumped out with the early lead scoring 3 goals in the first 9 minutes and cruised in the third for the comfortable win. 

The Bears rallied in the second period with Vlad Rubes scoring just before the end of the second period to bring the score to 5-1.

The Bears are now tied with the Adrenaline on 4 points, with the Adrenaline having 3 games in hand.

The Bears next game is against the Ice Dogs this Saturday night in Liverpool. The Dogs will be playing in their first home game of the season. Game starts at 5.00pm.
