Head Coach

Vlad Rubes enters his ninth season as Head Coach of the Sydney Bears. He was named the head coach of the team on March 15, 2001, and has since recorded the most wins and highest winning percentage in the clubs history. 
 
Vlad led the Bears to a minor premierships in 2008 and AIHL/Goodall Cup premierships in 2007 and 2002 and semi-finalist appearances in 7 of the last 8 seasons.  

Married to wife Martina with son Fillip 7 and  daughter Tayah 1. Lives in Freshwater on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
