Kurtis Dulle takes time from his busy working schedule back in Saskatchewan to talk to reporter Christian Roach about his time in Australia.
Sydney Bears regulars would have noticed the gaping hole in import presence within the team toward the end of the season, with Tony Demelinne resuming his sterling career back home, but Saskatchewan local Kurtis Dulle also departing home to, as he says, “work his white Canadian ass off”.

Captain Michael Schlamp couldn’t criticise the effort of his team despite the loss, “We were with them right up to the end of the game, it was good,” He said.
We were competitive even with the young guys, its good it’s over, we can turn the page and look forward to next year,” he said.

The Sydney Bears thanked their loyal fans and sponsors with a skate around Penrith Ice Palace before their last game of 2011. While they haven't enjoyed a lot of success on the ice this year, their supporters were out in force, as players slowed it down a little to share some tips and stories with the best fans in the league. The excitement carried over into the game as a healthy crowd of red cheered the Bears onto an early lead aginst The Ice Dogs.
