The world’s fastest team sport is played in Penrith and the Sydney Bears are proud to be a part of Australia’s fastest growing sport – ICE HOCKEY. Ice Hockey is an action packed family spectator sport that the whole family will enjoy.
Being a not for profit association means that sponsorship plays a key role in ensuring the Bears continue to provide the best Australian talent with an opportunity to play at an elite level.
The Sydney Bears announced the start of another exciting year in their history. The 2010 season saw the advancement of a new focus for the club with a commitment to the development of talented young players, to their supporters and the community in general.
There are several benefits to sponsor our team’s activities:
- Be involved in one of the fastest growing sports in Australia. The number of men, women & children who have involved themselves in Ice Hockey has increased dramatically over the last 5 years.
- Help develop the future of local Australian players.
- Leverage of the recent media exposure from the Winter Olympics. The general excitement for the sport received a boost in popularity from the broad cast exposure on Foxtel & local television.
- All donations & sponsorships are 100% tax deductible. All sponsors will receive a tax receipt upon payment process.
- Entertain clients or your staff at an action packed Ice Hockey game in addition to promoting your company locally in the Penrith area.
There are several ways to support the Sydney Bears:
- Donate or sponsor the club and become an official team sponsor.
- Offer our Sydney Bears fans a discount on merchandise or services.
- Donate products/services to the team to be raffled at our home games.
